Maria
I'm Maria Navarro, a nurse practitioner who has worked in dermatology and plastic surgery in New York City since 2013.
I founded Mnimal to create the kind of aesthetic practice I wanted to see more of: thoughtful, conservative, and grounded in long-term outcomes rather than trends.
My approach has been shaped not only by clinical experience, but also by my own history of fragrance and botanical extract sensitivity. It changed the way I think about skin health, product formulation, and the cumulative effects of what we put on our skin every day. It is also why I place so much importance on barrier function and on protecting healthy skin, not just treating damaged skin.

Mnimal is built on the belief that less is often more.
The goal is not transformation. It is subtle improvement that looks natural, feels authentic, and continues to make sense years from now.
Every treatment is guided by anatomy, clinical judgment, and restraint. The kind that is never noticeable.
I see a limited number of patients so appointments remain unhurried and treatment plans can be tailored to the individual rather than standardized.
The same philosophy extends to skincare. Every product used at Mnimal meets what I call a chemically neutral standard: fragrance-free, botanical-free, extract-free, and hypoallergenic.
